The museum was open until 9p, lowered the lights, and draped many of the aircraft with holiday lights. This gave the usual experience something extra. They also played Polar Express in the on-site theater. We try to enjoy the Air Museum when in McMinnville as they usually bring in a few new aircraft each year. They close at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Recommend it to all with any interest in planes. we went to Air Force museum on Offutt AFB near Omaha. they had a lot of planes, but interp was poor, and can not remember how many Navy planes were at Offutt.
